His tax preparer ought to be fired for so grossly overestimating his taxes that he would have paid in $1,900,000 too much. What I also find incredible is that he had an extra 1.9 million to pay in. Interest free, at that! Just think of all the interest or dividends he could have made on that money, rather than the IRS using temporarily.
